A BUSY road in Carnforth which was been closed due to an unsafe building is to reopen today.
Warton Road has been closed to traffic in both directions close to its junction with Hunter Street near the town's railway station since Friday.

A spokesperson for Lancaster City Council confirmed that officials from the council and also Lancashire County Council had already been to the scene to inspect the building with police officers and a fire crew and had deemed it unsafe.
The spokesperson said scaffolding was erected in order for safety work to be carried out.
The work has now been completed and the road will reopen at 6pm today with traffic management measures in place.
