PLANS for electric vehicle charging stations at Booths supermarket, Kendal, have been put before South Lakeland District Council.
Charging network InstaVolt, of Basingstoke, hopes to install four rapid-charge points at Wainwright's Yard, in the shoppers' car park.
Excavating the site and connecting power cables to the grid is expected to take around a week, according to planning documents.
