HOW THEY MET: At Kendal College in 2007 (on the bus from Penrith to Kendal).

PROPOSAL: On their ninth anniversary, 27 January 2017, at Linthwaite House Hotel, Bowness-on-Windermere.

STAG & HEN CELEBRATIONS: Both were held in Edinburgh.

VENUE: The Roundthorn Country House Hotel, Penrith on January 27, 2019, the couple’s 11th anniversary.

BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A simple dress worn with a veil from Family Affair, Kendal.

HAIR & BEAUTY: Hair was by Donna Lightburn and beauty by Olivia Hamilton.

GROOMSMEN: Owen Evans, groom’s best friend, was best man and ushers were Daniel Corrie, groom’s brother; Joe Raffle, friend and James Atkinson, bride’s brother. Charlie Corrie, couple’s son, and Oscar Atkinson, nephew, were pageboys. They wore grey suits with navy waistcoats and dusky pink pies from Family Affair, Kendal.

BRIDESMAIDS: Laura Atkinson, bride’s sister; Louise Howard, Amy Sawyer and Rachael Simpson, all bride’s friends, were bridesmaids and flower girls were Lucy McNeish, goddaughter, and Emily Howard, daughter of a friend.

FLOWERS: Mixed pink roses by Flowers by Lisa of Penrith.

JEWELLERY: White gold half diamond wedding band and a white gold and diamond bracelet. Both from H M Samuel.

RECEPTION: A reception for 70 guests was held at the Roundthorn Country House Hotel, Penrith.

TABLE SETTINGS: Natural wood blocks and cork table numbers, with flowers and candles.

FAVOURS: Damson gin made by the groom.

CAKE: A three tiered cake of Victoria and lemon sponge simply iced with matching flowers.

FIRST DANCE: Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran, sung and played on the guitar by the groom’s friend Michael Woods.

ENTERTAINMENT: Richard Dickinson Disco.

HONEYMOON: Gilpin Hotel, Windermere.
