LACK of suitable homes is the biggest barrier to retirement plans in the North West, according to a survey.
The poll by the Market Harborough Building Society found 41 per cent of home owners were also worried by high prices for smaller properties.
Other concerns were the stress and upheaval of moving (37 per cent) and not being able to sell up quickly (33 per cent).
