Kendal driver Jim Macdiarmid will contest this year's Cross Border Speed Championship using a Force PC single seat race car powered by a 1,400 Susuki Hayabusa engine.
Having been two-time northern speed champion in 2007 and 2013 Jim, assisted by crew chief Jane Green, will be looking to claim another title in 2019.
The 20-round championships take in events from Anglesey race circuit to Kames motorsport complex in Scotland and Harewood House at Leeds, along with the local round at Barbon Manor near Kirkby Lonsdale.
At Kames earlier this month, the duo had a couple of incidents with a spin and damaged a front wing and suffered a broken drive chain but fixed both and managed to get maximum championship points on both days, along with two class wins.
The next event is on the Anglesey circuit in May.
