Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Askam
Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Askam-in-Furness yesterday.
The incident occurred on Beach Street between 1 and 2pm.
The victim was distracted by a man knocking on the rear window of his property. Meanwhile another suspect entered the property via the front door and took £1000 in cash.
One man is described as 5ft 7/8 inches tall, of slim build, as wearing suit pants and a light shirt and carrying what appeared to be a black bag.
