A COUPLE from Dalton said "I do" in front of their closest family and friends.

28-year-old Louise Warwick, Trainee Healthcare Partner at Lloyd’s pharmacy and 34-year-old Tom Warwick, 34 Logistic Operative at BAE happily tied the knot at St Mary's Church in Dalton.

The couple first met on a night out about about seven years ago in 2012 at Bar 5 in Barrow.

One of the things that stood out for Louise when they first met was Tom’s personality.

Louise said: “I liked his personality and his interest in music, which brought us closer.”

The couples favourite band is called Interpol an American indie/rock band.

After they first met Tom then picked Louise up for a romantic first date on Walney beach.

Louise said of their first date: “It just felt natural, we got on really well and had a connection.”

Couple of years later the couple moved into their first home together.

A few months later on October 11 2014 they had a beautiful baby boy who they named Archie.

Louise said how amazing it was having Archie.

“It was amazing and brought us closer together. It made us a family unit.”

Tom then proposed to Louise in the summer of 2016 at home when he got in from work.

Louise said: “He told me how much he loves me and appreciates what I do for us and got down on one knee, he looked nervous.”

She also said how shocked she was as she did not think he was going to at that time, but also how ‘really happy’ and excited she was.

The couple then got married on August 24 2018 at St Mary’s church in Dalton.

Their reception was held at The Villa in Levens.

72 of their closest family and friends joined them on the day with another 30 guests joining them for the evening celebrations.

The colour theme on the day was grey/blue and copper/rose gold.

Louise said: “We were both really excited as it was both what we really wanted. I didn’t feel too nervous until actually walking down the aisle.

“Everything went smoothly and to plan, it was perfect.

“It was lovely having all our friends and family celebrating with us and everyone said what a lovely chilled out day it was.”

Guests were also treated to a sit-down meal at lunch and sausage and bacons buns in the evening.

On the evening they also had a band called The Seals play a set who Louise said was 'amazing.'

After the wedding day the couple then flew off to Alcudia, Mallorca in September 2018 with their son Archie for an 11-night familymoon.

The couple would like to thank everyone who made their day so special. Louise said: "We would like to thank our parents who without we wouldn't have been able to have the lovely day we had.

"We would also like to thank our groomsmen and bridesmaids for all their help."

The couple would also like to thank their award winning photographer Ladybirds Photography (www.ladybirdsphotography.com) for such amazing photographs.
