A FIRST-floor flat above Kendal's Discount Bed Centre looks set to have a new front door created, to meet fire safety regulations.
The dwelling's existing access via the bed shop at 108-110 Highgate is "considered unsafe", according to plans lodged with South Lakeland District Council.
