A LAKE District inn is holding an exclusive Spanish food and drink night this evening with a special guest flying in from one of the country’s most distinguished wine producers.
The Wild Boar Inn Grill & Smokehouse, at Crook near Windermere, is to host wine maestro Luis Marculeta from the Rioja Vega winery in Northern Spain for a four course Spanish themed Rioja dinner.
Mr Marculeta is teaming up with The Wild Boar head chef Dylan Evans to
pair some of the finest Spanish wines with a specially devised menu, which includes Hispanic style dishes of octopus and lamb.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting Mr Marculeta who will be pairing wines with our four course Spanish dinner, talking about the wine making process and explaining how the wine pairings work with each course,” says Adam Bujok from English Lakes Hotels Resorts & Venues, the manager of The Wild Boar.
Bookings can be made by calling 015394 45225.
