A TRAIN driver escaped injury after a terrifying incident on Wednesday night.
Police are appealing for information after a train driver's window was smashed with a brick.
The incident took place on the outskirts of Kendal close to Moorfield Close at 10.30pm on June 5.
British Transport Police, who are investigating the incident, believe that the brick was dropped from a bridge which then smashed a train driver's window.
Police confirmed that a similar episode happened last week on May 31.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "BTP received a report at 10.38pm on 05/06 of a window being smashed on board a moving train; the train was travelling through Kendal.
"A similar incident was reported at 10.36pm on 31/05. A rock was thrown at a train travelling through the same area causing damage to a window. In both incidents, no injuries were reported."
