FIREFIGHTERS spent more than two hours battling a blaze at an agricultural premises in Eden.

It happened at Penny Hill, South End, Bolton, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Two fire engines from Penrith and Appleby were called to the scene at 3.40am. A horse box, in a collection of small buildings, was on fire.

Crews, who were at the scene for two and a half hours, used two hose reel jets and a compressed air foam system to extinguish the fire.
