PROFESSIONAL BMX team 'Fusion Extreme' put on a stunt show for pupils at Beetham Primary School last Thursday morning.
It was the children's reward for clocking up the most journeys to school by bike, scooter or on foot as part of the Big Pedal promoted by Cumbria County Council.
The primary was one of the top performers in the county for using 'human power' to get to and from school.
Head teacher Wendy Nicholas said: "Fusion Extreme put on a great show for the children and it was wonderful to have it all taking place in our school playground.
"The riders were really talented and inspired the children with their incredible stunts. After the demonstration the children in KS2 had a workshop using BMX bikes with Matti Hemmings - who taught them some simple tricks."
The Big Pedal is the UK's largest inter-school active travel challenges , organised by national cycling charity Sustrans.
