PENRITH and The Border MP Rory Stewart has been knocked out of the Conservative Party leadership race.
Boris Johnson was again the runaway leader, with 143 votes.
The results are as follows:
Boris Johnson: 143
Jeremy Hunt: 54
Michael Gove: 51
Sajid Javid: 38
Rory Stewart: 27
Only two days ago he was announced as the favourite to topple Boris Johnson by bookmaker William Hill.
