FOLLOWING last year’s sell-out success, as part of its 2019 world tour, the international Paddling Film Festival will be returning to Kendal.

South Lakes residents will have the opportunity to watch some of the previous year’s best marine adventures when the inspirational festival hits the town.

The programme will feature videos and documentaries on exciting adventures including white-water action, sea kayakers exploring remote coastlines, canoe expeditions and short films capturing the lighter side of paddling life.

Hosted by Lakeland Canoe Club, with the help of Cumbria Canoeists and Kendal Mountain Festival, the event will be held at The Brewery Arts Centre on Tuesday, October 15, at 7pm.

Proceeds from the event will go towards buying and maintaining equipment for the club.

Tickets cost £11 for adults and six pounds for U16. You can buy them from The Brewery Ticket Office.
