ALL-terrain electric scooters are now available for hire at the Langdale Estate.
The ‘Trampers’ are designed to cover rough ground, mud, and grass in order to make the countryside more accessible.
The Langdale Estate, near Ambleside, teamed up with charity Lake District Mobility and Penrith branding specialist Ast Signs to offer the vehicles.
Nick Lancaster, managing director of the Langdale Estate, said: “The Trampers look smart and will open up so many more opportunities for our guests to enjoy the local landscape.”
Visitors can enjoy the area’s ‘Miles without Stiles’ routes. These can be found on the Lake District National Park website.
Trampers are £2.50 to hire for three hours (9am-12pm; 1pm-4pm; or 5pm-8pm) and £10.00 for the day.
