A YOGA teacher and will be conducting a special class at the top of Helvellyn this month.
Also a keen fell runner, David Cowburn, said he wanted to be creative and find an activity that involved both running and yoga.
He said he hoped the unusual class would become an annual event.
“The weather may be awful, it may just prove to be a very hilly walk with exceptionally windy yoga at the top,” he said.
“But one thing is for certain it will be different, and we are quite sure that it will be a lot fun.”
The route is around three miles with a climb of 3,000 feet.
Mr Cowburn's aim is to raise money for the Campaign Against Living Miserably, CALM.
The class takes place on Sunday, July 21, and further details are available on the website, studiooneyoga.co.uk/blog/ayogaclassathelvellyn
