Giggleswick litter pickers
ANOTHER successful litter-pick event was held by the ‘old faithfuls’ of the Giggleswick Gardening group.
Under the groups slogan, ‘pride in our parish’, the team go out once a month across the community to rid the area of rubbish. The Big Clean campaign, aims to encourage local communities to take pride in the areas where they live.
This time the volunteers collected more than 10 bags of litter as well as three lorry tyres and a bed headboard.
