SOME time ago following a headline similar to July 4's Gazette ('Danger road action appeal) you printed a letter from me. May I reiterate the point I made then?
There are dangerous drivers and, increasingly dangerous vehicles, but there is no such thing as a dangerous road. No amount of road signs, markings, speed limits or anything else will cancel out the effects of incompetent drivers.
