THE 24th Tour de Furness charity bike ride has been launched with entries available either online or via entry forms.
The Rotary Club of Furness organised event - staged on September 8 from Roose Cons Club in Barrow - features four rides: a five mile ride for children, a 13 miler and 23 miler for average riders plus a 50 mile ride to Coniston for the more experienced.
Riders can raise money for St Mary’s Hospice or their own favourite charity.
Last year more than £30,000 was raised and the organisers are hoping for a record entry and sponsorship.
