KENDAL Rugby Club was delighted to welcome a group of pupils from the Spanish village of Revenga, near Segovia in Spain, who have been visiting the town as part of a cultural and language exchange.

The students spent the afternoon learning how to play rugby.

The trip was organised by Bankfield Languages, a summer school which has been hosting international pupils to come stay in Kendal for a couple of weeks over the past nine years.

The pupils live with host families during their stay while they explore the history and the beautiful scenery the Lake District has to offer.
