A firm of solicitors blasted their way to raising more than £4000 for a Cumbrian charity.

Napthens solicitors hosted a clay shoot to raise £4,500 for the Cumbria Community Foundation.

The clay shoot, held at Graythwaite Hall, near Hawkshead, is the second of the events to be organised by the regional law firm, which has offices across the North West, including in Kendal.

Businesses were invited to attend in teams of four, with a ‘street food’ style lunch, prizes for the top teams and the opportunity to network.

Jamie Allison, head of Napthens’ Cumbria team, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who attended the charity shoot for their help in raising this fantastic amount for charity.

“The Cumbria Community Foundation is a great cause and I’d encourage anyone to find out more about the work they do.”

The Cumbria Community Foundation makes grants available for people and organisations wishing to make a difference to the most disadvantaged people in the community.

Headline sponsors of the event were Reward Finance Group and Saffery Champness Chartered Accountants.
