Following new lines of enquiry police have released CCTV images connected with a burglary and fraud investigation.
The burglary occurred at The Grange Hotel in Grange where several bank cards were stolen between May 31 and June 1.
A man purporting to be from a bank's fraud team then requested the pin code from the victim after claiming the bank had noticed suspicious activity on the account.
The stolen card was then later used at Barclays in Hanley, Stoke on Trent, where a large amount of cash was withdrawn using the pin code.
Police would like to speak with the person pictured as part of their investigations.
Anyone with information, or who recognises the person pictured in the CCTV image, is asked to contact PC 2335 Matthews on 101, email 101@cumbria.police.uk or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log number 97 of June 1.
