I MUST take issue with Paul Smith's letter 'No such thing as danger road' ('Gazette, July 18).
Of course most incidents are down to careless or impatient drivers, but there certainly are dangerous roads.
When uncontrolled junctions with minor roads are not allowed on motorways, which have a 70mph speed limit, why are they allowed on other 70mph roads such as the A590 and A591?
All junctions on the recently opened Bay Gateway (A683) are either traffic-light controlled or have roundabouts. Any other minor road 'crossings' are either by bridge or underpass.
Why can this system not be applied to the likes of our local accident blackspot roads?
