KIRKBY Lonsdale couple Russ and Maureen Taylor, who toasted their diamond wedding in June, held a garage sale and raised £605 for St John's Hospice, Lancaster.
The Taylors thanked the customers who turned up despite Saturday's downpours; their children and the hospice's Mark Wenlock for helping out; and friends and businesses who gave raffle prizes, donations and support, including The Bath House, Lunesdale Bakery, Boots, The Card Gallery, Booths, Herdwick House, The Doby Basket, the newsagents and John Removals.
