MP Tim Farron joined the pupils of Crosthwaite CE Primary School for one of their now regular sport nunchaku classes at Kendal Leisure Centre.
The school is believed to be the first in the country to have a regular sport nunchaku club in which they learn about this a highly specialist and skilled form of martial arts which is growing in popularity.
All the classes are taught by Sensei Rich Smith who recently became a world champion at the sport and holds regular classes at the Leisure Centre.
