BAREFOOT adventurer, Anna McNuff, took time out of her 2,620 mile run spanning the length of Britain, to visit some of the Girl Guides in Kendal.
She spoke to Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, and Leaders about her travels and shared her stories, inspiring girls to challenge themselves. She hoped that running 100 barefoot marathons will encourage young women to reach for the impossible.
County commissioner Sue Gudgeon said that meeting Anna McNuff, “inspired us to believe in ourselves and push beyond our comfort zones.”
