A HISTORIC and well-loved Furness pub is among more than 100 lots due to go under the hammer at a property auctions in Leeds next month.
Seven pubs across the North West are up for auction at the Pugh property sale on September 3 at Leeds United's Elland Road football ground, including The Black Bull Hotel at Dalton-in-Furness.
With a guide price of £125,000, the Black Bull dates back to the 19th century when discoveries of iron ore brought hundreds of miners to Dalton and the town became renowned for its plentiful pubs and hotels. The three-storey property includes four bedrooms and a beer garden on a 4,000 sq ft site and will be sold as a licensed premises.
