A WOMAN arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in a river remains in police custody today.
The body of Simon Dodds, 43, from Ambleside, was found in the area of the River Kent near Levens Lane on August 13 at around 3pm.
It followed a two-day search by emergency services investigating an incident at the River Kent at around 6.40am.
A 30-year-old woman from Ambleside was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday and remains in police custody today, said a spokesman for the constabulary.
