BURGLARS escaped with a large haul of kitchen utensils, ornaments and valuable goods in a raid on a house.
Police are investigating a burglary on Greengate Crescent, Levens between 7.30am on August 31 and 5pm on September 10.
Among the items stolen were: a small silver pepper pot octagon shaped; a silver salt pot with blue glass inside; six silver forks; three large silver forks; two silver table spoons; two silver napkin rings, 12 nickel plated tea spoons; a pair of silver sugar tongs; two small silver candle holders; one pewter curled up whippet dog lying down ornament; two crouching Labrador type dogs statues; small silver bowls, silver-plated cigarette lighter; two small cigarette cases and a case of a watch inscribed d’olycarte opera company presented with the date 1917.
Anyone with any information or has been offered items described as taken are asked to contact police on 101, email 101@cumbria.police.uk, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 135 of the 10th September 2019.
