Reader's letter.
I see Cllr Keith Little of Cumbria County Council says the forthcoming night-time closure of the A591 at Waterhead, Ambleside, arises because the road is so narrow (Gazette, October 17, 'Road closure sparks anger').
Is he speaking on behalf of the same council which found the same road wide enough to mark out two cycle lanes (still in place) a few years ago?
