FIRE crews were called out after a blaze started in a chimney.
A 999 call was made at 11.44pm on Saturday after a chimney fire started at a property near Hawkshead.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet and chimney gear to access the fire and extinguish the blaze.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service said: βAt 11.44pm on November 2 firefighters were called to a chimney fire near Hawkshead, Ambleside. Crews used an hose reel jet and chimney gear to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for 90 minutes.β
