TENNIS fans dined on Lake District lamb thanks to another sporting win for a family-owned fresh meat supplier.
Udale Speciality Foods, based at Morecambe and near Orton, also delivered Slacks' pork-and-tarragon sausages to London's O2 Arena for hospitality guests at the men's ATP tennis finals.
The deal follows many other successes for Udale, such as supplying milk-fed Lake District lamb to tennis champion Andy Murray's wedding in 2015; Lancashire duck to the 2018 Brit Awards; and beef, lamb and pork for 3,000 to 4.000 guests at the final Test of this year's Ashes at The Oval, in South London.
