REGIONAL rail franchise holder Northern’s new trains have reached a landmark by recording more than two million journeys since their launch in July.
At present there are 33 of the new 195 and 331 trains operating across Cumbria and beyond though a total of 101 of the new units will eventually come into service when the upgrade programme is complete.
