SNOW White and the Seven Dwarves is the fabulously fantastic festive fun-packed panto offering from the talented youngsters of Grange and District Amateur Operatic Society's youth section.

Running from tomorrow (Friday) until Sunday, December 6-8, centre stage is Kerensa Wright in her first lead role as Snow White, who is tricked by the evil Queen Avarice (the versatile actress and singer Faye Hill) into eating a poisoned apple.

Her Henchmen, the gullible Slurp, jointly played by Douglas McCleery, Darwin and Austin Hamer, bring a chilly front to the classic story. However, they are outwitted by two beautiful fairies, Izzie Shires and Annabel Holcroft.

Comedy is introduced by Max Burrow, playing Edna Bucket, the Dame, and there’ll be plenty more laughs a minute courtesy of Chuckles, played by Alice Payne, with Reece Carter and Emily Kate Unsworth as the bungling Justice Quill and his scribe Scribbles.

There’s even a talking, dancing mirror in the guise of Nerissa Blatchley. Meanwhile, principal boy is Martha Rand, playing Prince Ferdinand.

The Dwarves are ably played by Becky McCleery as Brainy, Harry Burrow takes the role of Snoozy; Charlie Baker is Sniffles; Jack Nickson, Grumbly; Holly Lloyd, Blushful; Oliver Pearson, Dozy, and last, but certainly, not least, Amos Rand plays Smiley.

Staged at the Victoria Hall, there will be one 7.30pm performance on the Friday and two matinee shows at 2.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
