CASTERTON, Sedbergh Prep School is inviting everyone to don Christmas outfits and join its Elf Run on Saturday, December 7, 2019 to raise money for St John's Hospice at Lancaster.
Children aged nine and below, and their families, are challenged to see how many laps of the school sports fields, at Casterton, near Kirkby Lonsdale, they can complete between 9am and 9.30am.
In return, participants are asked to raise sponsorship money, which can be taken along on the day.
Every child will receive an elf hat on the morning, but runners and spectators are invited to get into the festive spirit by wearing Christmas outfits, jumpers or decorations. All participants will receive a hot drink and biscuit to revive their energy once the run is complete.
