MEMBERS of Dalton Town Council are due to come together for the latest meeting on Monday.
Councillors will gather at the Town Hall in Station Road to talk about the latest issues and developments in the town.
They are due to make judgements on submitted planning applications are will make their decision on a proposed plan for a dedicated Islamic community hall and prayer centre.
Charity South Lakes Islamic has applied to Barrow Borough Council planners for permission to build the hall at Crooklands Brow, Ulverston Road.
Dalton Council will have the opportunity to discuss the plans and recommend whether they should be approved.
The meeting takes place at 7pm.
Before every meeting there is time for a surgery to allow residents discuss issues and concerns with their local councillors.
Around 30 members of the public attended the last town council meeting to make councillors aware of their concerns on the application.
Residents were concerned about parking issues, potential noise and existing wildlife.
Nearby residents have been also been consulted with on the plans.
