EMERGENCY services rushed to a house fire in Windermere last night.
Four fire engines were called at around 10.30pm yesterday following the report of a fire at a property on Fallbarrow Road.
Crews from Staveley, Windermere, Ambleside and Kendal attended the scene.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The fire was well alight on arrival and firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels jets, a positive pressure ventilation unit, one nine metre ladder and small gear to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for two hours and ten minutes.”
It is currently unknown as to whether anyone was injured at this time.
