Mental health charity receives a boost after kind donation
A MENTAL health charity has received a kind donation of more than £400 this Christmas.
Growing Well, based at Low Sizergh Farm near Kendal, is a farm-based mental health charity and on Tuesday it received a cheque from Grange Soroptimists.
The money was raised from the Friendship Afternoon event held in Cartmel Village Hall.
The guest of honour was 2019 MasterChef winner Irini Tzortzoglou.
She was the one to suggest Growing Well as the chosen charity for the event.
