THE North West Air Ambulance is seeking volunteers to help with collections and charity bag packing at Marks and Spencer in Kendal during the run-up to Christmas.
Help is needed this Saturday, December 21, from 8am to 5pm; Sunday, December 22, from 10am to 4pm; Monday, December 23, from 8am to 8pm; and Christmas Eve, from 8am to 4pm.
The charity relies entirely on public support to raise more than £9.5 million each year to keep the life-saving air ambulance running. It says it hopes people will help it to make the most of "this fantastic opportunity" to raise money to keep the air ambulance running.

Helpers can receive reimbursement for reasonable transport costs, and those doing a full day - seven hours - can also claim a lunch allowance.
