Firefighters called to a domestic property fire in Kendal
FIRE crews were called to a report of a fire in a domestic property in Kendal yesterday morning.
Two appliances were mobilised at around 10am to a house on Greengate Lane.
A Cumbria Fire & Rescue spokesperson said they were called due to a dishwasher that was on fire.
On arrival, crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal image camera to extinguish the blaze.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 45 minutes.
