MEMBERS of the Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were called by Cumbria Police last Saturday, December 28, after a man collapsed below The Rake area above Glenridding.
On arrival at the casualty site, which was close to the village, the man was assessed in respect of his medical condition and was then stretchered off the fell.
The casualty was then taken back to his holiday accommodation in Glenridding.
The incident lasted around 90 minutes.
