IN DECEMBER 19's Gazette Tim Farron said he considered it "a miracle" he was re-elected.
I suspect it may have been because he and his potential rivals failed to knock on any doors.
Mine was one whose door failed to get a visitor throughout the run-up to the election. If I am going to put my cross against anybody's name I want to know what his personal thoughts are on Brexit, the NHS, crime and punishment, etc. All I got was a mountain of paper which only followed the various political parties' mantra.
For future reference, and I realise this will not be for another five years, you are supposed to be representing our views. You would do well to actually hear what they are.
