TWO music stars are teaming up for a show in Kendal.
BBC 6 Music and Radio 2 broadcaster, musician and author Mark Radcliffe will team up with electronica tech-head Paul Langley to present electronic music spanning many styles.
Radcliffe, who is originally from Bolton in Lancashire, has worked for the BBC in various roles since the 1980s. He has also presented TV shows for the BBC. including coverage of the Glastonbury Festival.
And he has played in a number of bands, and in 2006 won the ITV show Stars in their Eyes singing The Irish Rover, by the Pogues.
Paul Langley is a DJ who used to be a regular fixture at Manchester’s legendary Hacienda club.
His music has been released on a number of record labels.
The duo teamed up to work on songs, and produced a debut album, Lost, and have already made a number of festival appearances.
The event is at the Brewery Arts Centre on March 19, starting at 8pm. Tickets are £10.50 in advance or £12.50 on the door. There will be a pre show Q&A hosted by the centre’s Miriam Randall.
