A MAN has appeared in court accused of stealing a charity box, medication and cash from a hotel in Windermere.
Bradley Higham, of Laurel Avenue in Newton-le-Willows, has been charged with stealing £30 from behind a bar, a charity box from Windermere Library, a caravan key and some medication from a room at the Belsfield Hotel on October 9 of last year.
He has also been charged with going equipped for theft and charging a drink to another guest’s room.
The 41-year-old pleaded not guilty to all six offences at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
Higham was granted bail and will go on trial at Carlisle Crown Court on February 3.
