POLICE broke down the door of a property during a drugs raid in a South Lakeland village.

A Cumbria Constabulary spokeswoman said the action was carried out in the area of Woodbank, Endmoor, this morning.

She added: “Officers seized an amount of Class B drugs. No arrests were made."

In a Twitter post, South Lakes Police said: "We don’t just target towns, villages get our attention too! You provide the information, we will provide the results!"

Inspector Paul Latham said the warrant can been carried out "off information provided by the public".

"Without that information we would not have been able to take action," he added.
