STORM Brendan will bring strong wind and heavy rain to Cumbria, the Met Office has predicted.
Forecasters say there will be a dry and windy start to the day before heavy rain hits in the afternoon.
Today is set to bring strong winds throughout. The maximum temperature could reach nine degrees.
Looking to tonight, the Met Office said: "Once the rain has cleared, it will be mostly dry, barring a few showers, mainly across Cumbria.
"It will remain breezy throughout. A patchy frost is possible. Minimum temperature three degrees."
Tomorrow is set to see heavy rain from the outset that could get heavier through the day.
Flood alerts have been issued for the Morecambe Ba coast, Derwent Water and Keswick Camping and Caravan Club Site
