The 'bags of courage' being put together at Ye Olde Fleece Inn
A PUBLIC meeting is being held to discuss the Give a Day (GAD) Kendal scheme in greater depth.
GAD would be a week in June or July when employers allow staff to 'give a day' for the betterment of the community.
The scheme was launched at Ye Olde Fleece Inn last month when volunteers put together 'bags of courage', containing little pick-me-ups, for local carers.
The GAD meeting is at Ye Olde Fleece on January 23 at 7pm.
