PEOPLE will have the chance to learn about 'green' business practices during a series of meetings being held this year.

The breakfast-time (8.30-10am) events at the Lake District National Park Authority (LDNPA) headquarters, Kendal, are open to those who wish to know more about green business opportunities in the area, as well as those who have already made green business decisions and wish to share their knowledge.

Organised by the Lake District Foundation, the meetings will feature guest speakers, beginning with Richard Leafe, chief executive of the LDNPA, on February 13. Mr Leafe will be discussing topics such as the LDNPA's plans for tackling the climate emergency and the future of housing in the national park.

A donation of £2 on arrival is suggested. Visit eventbrite.com and search for 'green business breakfast meeting' to book tickets and for more information about dates.
