ARNSIDE Lecture Group is beginning a course on the The English Country House - from early Tudor times to the 21st century, analysing both their social and architectural history over six centuries.

The start date for this course is today, Thursday, January 23 and the lecturer is Roger Mitchell MA (Oxon).

The course will meet in the WI Hall, Orchard Road, 2.15pm-4.15pm.

Today the first of six lectures will be on - The late Mediaeval and early Tudor Country House.

Fees are weekly: £3 - Full course - £18. Please note there is a £5 joining fee for non-members (this is a lifetime membership).

Play outdoor games and sing songs, followed by a story and a cup of tea or coffee (juice for the little ones).
