KENDAL is a market town without a food hall.
The landscape of our high streets is changing, with too many large stores in our town centres disappearing.
K Village in Kendal was a missed opportunity to create a Kendal food hall. Such a facility could bring many benefits, socially and economically, with links to the college and also providing both short and long-term employment.
Imagine an indoor area serving and supplying locally sourced products throughout the day, into mid-evening.
Surely such a project would stimulate private investors and local businesses alike?
